About this deal

One of the benefits of SunSense Daily Face is its invisible matte finish. This allows the sunscreen to be used alone or under makeup without leaving any shiny or greasy residue. This makes it a great option for those who want to protect their skin without compromising their makeup routine.

There is some controversy around BHT. It's not a new ingredient, it has been used both as a food and cosmetics additive since the 1970s. Plenty of studies tried to examine if it's a carcinogen or not. This Truth in Aging article details the situation and also writes that all these studies examine BHT when taken orally.

A very common silicone that gives both skin and hair a silky smooth feel. It also forms a protective barrier on the skin and fills in fine lines. Also used for scar treatment. If your skin is exposed to too much sun, it can weaken the elasticity of your skin and change its texture. When this happens, you may notice that wrinkles, sags or age spots start to form in the skin, as UV rays cause visible damage to your skin. Sunsense Face, Lip Balm and Sunsense sensitive all good reliable products factor 50+. Delivery on time.

Uvistat SPF 50 lipscreen contains Vitamin E and Tea Tree oil. The moisturising balm helps prevent lips from becoming dry and chapped. With the lips being the area of the body with the least layers of skin, then extra care should be taken all year round. Your SunSense products were recommended to me by Amyjayne Aesthetics last year. I was given some free samples to try, I was extremely pleased with the lightness of them, they're not heavy at all on the skin, they soak in beautifully I especially love the tinted cream. I would definitely recommend anyone to try these, I'm sure you'll love them as much as I do. These three letters stand for Poly Vinyl Pyrollidone, a big molecule created from repeated units of Vinyl Pyrrolidone, aka VP. Its main thing is being an importantfilm former. It was the first synthetic polymer introduced as a hair fixative in the 1950s instead of insect-derivedShellac.It’s pretty much the current IT- preservative. It’s safe and gentle, but even more importantly, it’s not a feared-by-everyone-mostly-without-scientific-reason paraben. This light soft cream is tinted for a sheer matt finish and its oil free base is ideal for combination and oily skin. SunSense Daily Face is an effective sunscreen that provides superior protection against harmful UVA and UVB rays. This daily-use sunscreen is perfect for people of all skin types, and it is especially useful for those with sensitive skin. As for Diazolidinyl Urea itself, a study from 1990 writes that at concentrations up to 0.4%, it was a mild cumulative skin irritant, but the CIR (Cosmetic Ingredient Review) reviewed it in 2006 and found that, in concentrations of <0.5%, it is safe as used, as the amount of formaldehyde released will be smaller than the recommended limit (of less than 0.2%). Tried Sunsense sensitive spf50 due to major flare up of allergy excema. I am sure it does the job but unless you want to look like you have been dipped in brilliant white emulsion I suggest you give this product a miss. It was impossible to rub in enough to not leave a white coat on your skin. Effective from as low as 3% with even more benefits for dry skin at higher concentrations up to 20-40% Anyway, it doesn't matter if it reflects or absorbs, Titanium Dioxide is a pretty awesome sunscreen agent for two main reasons: it gives a nice broad spectrum coverage and it's highly stable. Its protection is very good between 290 - 350 nm (UVB and UVA II range), and less goodat 350-400 nm (UVA I) range. Regular sized Titanium Dioxide also has a great safetyprofile, it's non-irritating and is pretty much free from any health concerns (like estrogenic effect worries with some chemical filters). Avobenzone - the only globally available chemical sunscreen that gives proper UVA protection. It is not photostable so has to be combined with ingredients that help to stabilize it. Traditionally, UV-filters are categorized as either chemical or physical. The big difference is supposed to be that chemical agents absorb UV-light while physical agents reflect it like a bunch of mini umbrellas on top of theskin. While this categorization is easy and logicalit turns out it's not true. A recent, 2016 study shows that inorganic sunscreens work mostly by absorption, just like chemical filters, and only a little bit by reflection (they do reflect the light in the visible spectrum, but mostly absorb in the UV spectrum).

Sunsense Daily Face uses SPF 50+ sun protection, which offers broad-spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays. This product also contains Vitamin E which helps to improve the appearance of age spots, fine lines, and wrinkles while improving your skin’s overall elasticity. Avoiding prolonged sun exposure is also crucial for reducing your risk of skin damage and skin cancer. SunSense Daily Face should be used generously and reapplied frequently to ensure that you are properly protected throughout the day.

It gives very good protection acrossthe whole UVA range (310-400 nmthat is both UVA1 and UVA2) with a peak protection at 360 nm. The problem with it, though, is that it is not photostable and degrades in the sunlight. Wikipedia saysthat avobenzone loses 36% of its UV-absorptioncapacity after just one hour of sunlight (yep, this is one of the reasons why sunscreens have to be reapplied after a few hours). The disadvantage of Titanium Dioxide is that it's not cosmetically elegant, meaning it's a white, "unspreadable" mess. Sunscreens containing Titanium Dioxideare often hard to spread on the skin and they leave a disturbing whitishtint. The cosmetic industry is, of course, really trying to solve this problemand the best solution so far is using nanoparticles. The itsy-bitsy Nano-sized particles improveboth spreadability and reduce the whitish tint a lot, but unfortunately, it also introduces new health concerns. Uvinul T 150 - A new generation, chemical sunscreen (not available in the US due to impossible FDA regulations) that gives the highest photo-stable absorption of all available UVB filters today.

I bought sun sense anti ageing factor 50 as I thought it would do the job of a moisturiser as well as a sun protector. I used it for 4 days, but my skin became very red, itchy and sore so I discontinued use. If that was not enough, Wikipedia claims that BP-3 is nowadays themost common allergen found in sunscreens, and the always-trustworthy smartskincarewrites that "[benzophenones] have been shown in some studies to promote thegeneration of potentially harmful free radicals".
