It’s unfortunate that these do not come in half sizes. I was in men’s 9s in 2019 and went with 10s this time when in reality I would best fit a 9.5 since they are open-toed sandals. Sandals like the Z trail (and even more so the z trek) have very thin soles, which allow for maximum connection with the ground. The Pah Tempe, like other Unshoes sandals, has many different shapes to find the best fit, while the Z-Trek has only the two shapes—one for men and one for women. Both sandals have sizing templates online so you can print out and test with your feet on the floor. Currently, the Pah Tempe in its latest generation has six templates/shapes for each size. The Genesis and the original Cloud are unisex styles. For example a men’s 7 is the same exact shoe as a women’s 8. Although they are not vegans themselves, all Xero sandals are currently vegan. This is for both performance-based reasons and also from the perspective of wanting to offer sandals that are suitable for vegans.
