Even when I unplug the remote wire and put in a new fuse , it still blows the fuse even without the remote wire being wired in.

So it's possible they're is something weird with your vehicle in not aware about, but the design of this sub makes it where it should fit every vehicle without modification.If you still have your trunk foam inserts, i recommend cutting it so it can still support your trunk floor!
